Happy B*day

Morning!

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Popping in to share a fun little card I made for fun for the Sister Stamps FB National Scrapbook day and their surpassing 350 likes.  Jenny is giving away a surprise prize which includes a Sister Stamp and some other goodies.  She's generous enough to extend the deadline to today so if you are fan of Sister Stamps on Facebook create something and post it there.  Congrats Sister Stamps!

On to my card...

Here is Katsura from Sister Stamps.  Isn't he cute with his fish flag?  Thought he'd be a perfect choice for this scene.  Haven't used the wonky rectangles in a long time so decided to do something with them.  Took the biggest and next size down, embossed it with a bamboo embossing folder and then distressed it with DI Vintage photo and Walnut stain inks to give the bamboo some contrast.  Sorry the picture is so bad I think I need new batteries.  Anyhoos, IRL it looks like burnt tree bark.  The circles were stamped with a Hero Art Message circle, but I wiped away the words and hand wrote the sentiment.  It could stand for either Happy Birthday or Boy's day (which was yesterday, 5/4.)

You can purchase him and all the other Sister Stamps images at Yumi & Fumi Handmade.  We even have the newest release.  Shop HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you have an enjoyable and safe Cinco de Mayo!!
Hugs,
Leanne
